17 days ago we asked Dr. Peeler to come and assess Bazel in our home, fully expecting that it would be his last day. He was isolating, didn't wish to be touched, was non-interactive, having bouts of coughing and collapsing a couple of times while walking. He was unhappy and seemed scared.

Dr. Peeler examined and interacted with Bazel and said she thought she could help gain him some more quality time with adjustments in supplement, diet and medications. Following her suggestions we've seen Bazel rally. He's been on daily walks, including his favorite swimming hole which we never thought could happen. He's gone from refusing his kibble to eating with relish and being very alert. We brought him a new plush toy yesterday and he played tug-of-war a bit and carried the toy around all day. He's being his old joyful self.

With his heart disease we know the inevitable is coming, but we are so grateful to Dr. Peeler for giving us this extra time with our beloved Bazel.

She has a great memory for what we tell her during our check-ins, and she uses that information to make medication changes or suggest specific training strategies. Love that she can help both with the veterinary medicine side, as well as the behavioral side of things.

I'm a little (a lot) obsessed with my dog, and I'm picky about who we work with. I'm so glad that we were recommended to Dr. Peeler, and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone!
